Would you like to tour the Rock Island Arsenal Firearms Museum?
There has been some discussion recently about the possible closing of the RIA Firearms Museum in the future. This is a world class museum of arms and something every firearms enthusiast should see. It would be a shame for the Midwest to lose this historical treasure.
WLGC Road Trip? are you interested?
We are thinking of hosting a WLGC “road trip” to see the museum. Ideally, we would carpool from several locations (Iowa City, West Liberty, Muscatine, or wherever) and meet at the Arsenal for a group tour.
Rock Island Arsenal Firearms Museum
Museum hours are 12:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. To accommodate people with day jobs, we would probably plan to do this on a Saturday. Would you be interested in participating? Please drop me a note at email@example.com and I will coordinate the effort. Let me know if you would be willing to drive or would prefer to be a rider.
