As many of you know I am a tax accountant, so with tax season now in full swing
I am putting in a few extra hours at work. It’s Sunday February 14th and I am
sitting at my desk at work. I look out my window at the snow storm and over to
my shelf where a pile of tax returns are waiting for me to review. So I will be brief
so I can get back to work.
The Ryan Memorial Trust Grant:
Today I was able to complete a draft to apply for funds to help us with the indoor
range project. Many thanks for Arnie and Marian Hart for their help with this
project. Marian, who has applied for this grant in the past, helped with a first
draft. Arnie, who has been the building project manager, provided all the technical
support for the grant.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed that the trustees will see our indoor range
rebuilding project as one worthy of funding.
All members can play a role in the future of the club. Our next meeting is 7:00 PM
on February 24th at the West Liberty Community Center, 1204 North Calhoun
Street, West Liberty, Iowa. All members and interested guests are welcome.

areas of our range.
We will schedule a Range Safety Officer Training Class in the near future
