Sorry for the late results announcement, it has been a busy week. The day started off a little sketchy but it turned out to be pretty nice. The results have been calculated and were submitted to USPSA last Wednesday and Thursday. If you have an email on file with your USPSA profile I am sure you got the email. There was a small correction to the scores and you may have received the results email twice, sorry for that. I wanted to extend a great big thanks to those of you who made it out Saturday and again early on Sunday to get things set-up in my absence. I am truly grateful for the club members and shooters we have, you folks make this fun. The overall results are below to see how you stacked up.
A couple of other Items of business:
1. Mark your calendars for July 26th – 29th for the annual Big Dawg Steel Match. This match will again be held at West Liberty Gun Club and is nothing short of spectacular. 15 stages of steel plate racks and a round count of 300 rounds that draws shooters from all over the country. Last year’s prize table was over $11,000.00 of prizes. Every shooter walked away with a prize! This match is literally a blast!
2. The West Liberty Practical Shooters invite you to the 2013 Iowa Fall Classic. The match will be held September 5th – 8th. In our inaugural match last year 60 shooters battled it out over 10 stages and 260 rounds. This year’s match is shaping up to be even bigger and better. More details to follow. We will be looking for RO’s to help run the match this year as we hope to raise the bar and make this a level 2 match this year. We will be looking for 20 – 25 RO’s to work Friday and Saturday. If you are interested in being an Iowa Fall Classic Match official please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks for shooting with us and we hope to see you at the range this summer!
